PREVIOUS MODEL (v5.1) — the rankings on this page come from the previous model and are kept for reference. The primary board is now the Alpha draft signal (research preview): open the draft signal.

⚠ BOARD v5.1 — 444 players on ONE ruler: 359 vets + 85 incoming freshmen (FR). Freshmen have no college production yet; every production cell reads —, which means not played, never zero. No freshman placement on this board is backtested. Where the tier disagrees with the rank, the tier is the backtested read — they are cut on different quantities.

Model Notes & Methodology
Alpha Rating = expected NFL outcome from 25 comps, against the top-10 blend of the best-ever scores at that position, then format-adjusted. A RATIO on a relative scale, not a points projection — the board is ranked on it.

Tier vs. rank. Where the tier disagrees with the rank they answer different questions: the tier is the backtested read (top-decile recall of 10+ PPG producers — WR 72.4% / RB 69.0% / QB 43.7% / TE 41.2%), so a 92-rated TE and a 92-rated WR are not the same bet. Read a rating against its own position.

raw comp E[PPG] is the pre-cap, pre-format basis the tier is cut on (which is why tier and rating can disagree). For the 85 freshmen the same column is a pedigree prior with a buzz overlay, labelled that way per row. P(day 2+) is a percentage. Win Now (2026 proj) sorts by OUR OWN 2026 CFF projected fantasy points (full PPR, 6-pt passing TDs, position-appropriate stat line) — a view/sort toggle only, it never changes rank_v50 or Alpha Rating (334/444 have a projection; the rest sort last). Full ranked list: 2026 CFF Projections →. (CFF ADP — Fantrax market demand — still appears as a data point on the player card; it is no longer a board sort here.)

Freshmen render — for every production field, never 0, never dropped; their placement is a projection, not backtested. Full write-ups: Prospect Cards → · BuzzFeed → · Methodology →.
